Friday, January 5 – Something Else! with special guest Matthew Whitaker at 8 p.m.
Under the stars at the Collins Park lawn, immerse yourself in the funky soul-jazz sounds of Vincent Herring’s Something Else! Special guest Matthew Whitaker, a visually impaired prodigy, will captivate with his mastery of the piano. Saturday, January 6 – Jazz for Tomorrow Student Stage at 10 a.m. & Alfredo Rodriguez & Friends at 8 p.m.
Join celebrated jazz artist Nicole Yarling at the Jazz for Tomorrow Student Stage, showcasing emerging talent and offering masterclasses to nurture the next generation. Later, at the Miami Beach Bandshell, let Grammy-nominated Cuban composer Alfredo Rodriguez & Friends transport you with their Latin, pop, jazz, and funk fusion.
Sunday, January 7 – All-Day Extravaganza at 1111 Lincoln Road
The final day of SBJF kicks off at 11 a.m. with The Spirit of Goodwill Band, followed by the Brandon Goldberg Trio at 1 p.m., The Smoogies at 2:30 p.m., Tal Cohen at 4:30 p.m., and the grand finale featuring the South Florida Jazz Orchestra at 6:30 p.m. This all-day celebration at 1111 Lincoln Road is free with RSVP, showcasing a diverse lineup of talent, including inspiring musicians with varying abilities.
