On April 20, 2024, starting at 3:00 PM, join us on the picturesque shores of Crandon Park Beach for a profound celebration of nature and a collective call to safeguard our precious waters at the 6th annual National Water Dance. This nationwide event brings together dance companies, musicians, and visual artists from across the country, converging at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Biscayne Nature Center to perform a mesmerizing site-specific dance.

Presented by NWD Projects and Life Arts Miami, this year’s gathering highlights Miami’s esteemed dance community, including NWD Projects, Dance Now! Miami, Olujimi Dance Collective, Karen Peterson & Dancers, Jubilation Dance Ensemble, and more. The program also features a captivating spoken word performance by Arsimmer McCoy and a special appearance by the Miami Sound Choir.

The festivities kick off at 3:00 PM with the Dream in Green Eco-Summit and pre-show activities, leading seamlessly into the National Water Dance performance at 4:00 PM. After the dance, attendees are encouraged to join the Debris Free Oceans beach cleanup initiative at 5:00 PM, contributing to the preservation of our coastal ecosystems. As the day draws to a close, unwind and enjoy the breathtaking sunset with a relaxing Happy Hour starting at 6:00 PM.
