Established in 1956 by the League of American Bicyclists, National Bike Month showcases the benefits of bicycling and encourages many to give biking a try. With May being National Bike Month, it’s the perfect time to gear up for a ride with family and friends with summer weather well on its way; and as many know, a bike is one of the best ways of transportation on South Beach giving the rider a chance to truly enjoy the beach’s scenery.
We put together a bike ride guide for you to take in all that South Beach has to offer while getting some exercise at the same time.

Filled with bike paths, you can take in all the beautiful greenery as Government Cut acts as a backdrop.
This famed street offers everything you’d expect in Miami Beach – the Atlantic Ocean, palm trees, ocean front restaurants (even more places to get an alcoholic beverage) and the infamous Versace Mansion.
You’ll probably find yourself hungry at this point so indulge yourself at 100 Montaditos. They offer 100 different montaditos (a unique tapa-sized roll filled with the best ingredients) served on freshly baked crunchy rolls, along with appetizers, tapas and salads; a lunch you deserve after all the biking you’ve done.
ride back down Ocean Drive and stop at Bentley Beach Club for a second to relax on the beach and work on that tan you came here for.
